High pressure sewer jetting is method of cleaning sewer & drain lines using high pressure water. An engine or other power source powers a high pressure water pump that produces water under pressure.
Sonde locators can be used to trace drains, sewers and other non-conductive utilities. It acts like a signal transmitter and can be attached to a range of equipment including drain rods, boring tools and inspection cameras.
Pipe relining is where a pipe lining is placed on the inside of an existing pipe to fix any leaks, cracks etc. It means that we can fix broken pipes without the need to dig up and replace the pipe. This can not only save you time and money usually needed to dig up pipes under various structures etc, but also the hassle of having your home or business dug up.
Closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras are used for pipe inspection work. The technology is now so good that the pictures obtained of the inside of pipes and drains are clear enough to easily identify any damage, or even any potential future damage, in the interior part of the pipe. Any build up of debris or dirt can also clearly be seen to allow the right approach of cleaning to take place later.
Surveying pipe work in this way can save a company money by letting them have first hand knowledge of the condition of every inch of their drains and sewers. It can eliminate or at least minimise the kind of nasty surprise that usually accompanies an unexpected breakdown.
